Advanced Lacrosse Development

Subhead: ages, facilities

In 5th and 6th grade our players experience lacrosse in its comprehensive form, akin to high school, college, and professional levels. Participants will embrace full-sized fields, and the commencement of position specialization—particularly for defense and goalies—is introduced.

Here, we integrate:

  • Application of Strategies: Teaching players the practical implementation of learned strategies and tactics in real-game scenarios.
  • Holistic Learning: Introduction to concepts beyond sports, including mental preparation, goal setting, and learning to cope with the outcomes—win or lose.
  • Enhanced Team Dynamics: Fostering an understanding of collective improvement and emphasizing the significance of each player in team development.
  • Encouragement through Positive Experiences: Creating an environment where good experiences motivate continual participation in the sport.
